Fundraising and FUN!

All participants will have two main goals:

To raise funds in support of SB&H;
To earn a Snowman Series Championship Title.

Players are encouraged to collect a minimum of $40 in pledges towards our goal of $1,500. Upon arrival at the tournament on August 19, all players will turn in their pledge money, 100% of which will be given directly to the charity organization.

Once all players have signed in and pledge forms have been accounted for, the qualifying rounds of 8-ball can begin.

Divisional Qualifying

24 players, registered in pairs, will be randomly drawn into three divisions.

During the qualifying rounds, members of each division (Yellow, Blue or Red) will face each of three opposing teams within the same division. Individual games of standard 8-ball doubles will be played, with points being allocated for a win, plus a point per ball remaining on the table.

Inter-Divisional Play

The top two teams from each division will move into Round Four and will face off against an opposing division in a "Best-2-of-3" match. The leader of each division will meet the runners-up from an alternate division.

Of the remaining 3rd and 4th ranked teams in each division, the top two point earning teams (regardless of division) will earn their continuance in the "Wildcard" position, and will meet each other in this round. All others will be eliminated.

Regardless of point standings, the winners of each match will move into the "Best-2-of-3" Semi-Finals. The Wildcard winner will play the top-ranked divisional team remaining, while the other two teams will meet.

Championship Match

Again, regardless of point totals, the winner of each semi-final match will earn a berth in the title match. The two teams will square off in a "Best-3-of-5" round at a chance to win the Championship Title.
