Putting the "FUN" in FUNDRAISING!

Since 2002, participants in The Snowman Series events have raised $5000 on behalf of charities, such as The Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario (SB&H) and the Dancemakers Organization.

Thursday August 19, 2004the Charity Challenge returned in an effort to once again raise funds in support of the programs and services of SB&H, and the night was an unprecedented success!

The twenty-four registered players came through in spades, collecting just short of $1,900. through individual player pledges. Take into consideration additional funds raised through table and rack sponsorship, sale of T-shirts, bids on a dozen silent auction items and further donations from various sources and the Challenge generated OVER $3,000... MORE THAN DOUBLE our goal of $1,500!

NOTE:100% of all funds raised have been given directly to SB&H.

The unique roster sets 24 players (12 pairs) into a rotational line-up of divisional play, leading to an exciting round of inter-divisional bouts, and ultimately, to a final "best-of-the-best" match between the top two teams overall.
