Opening break was delayed while the final registered players arrived late due to traffic, but once underway, the action was as scorching hot as one could expect from a Snowman Series event.

Round One: 8-Ball Doubles

All 12 players hit the tables in the first round as the two tribes squared off in standard matches of 8-ball doubles.

The Ouzo Tribe proved a superior foe from the get-go, winning five of the six opening matches. Only Jeff Ferguson & Eric Snow of the Mythos Tribe would score a victory, over Shauna Beaudoin and Giovanni Caicedo. Beaudoin & Caicedo would take their second match over Steve Kean & Bobby Kyriazis, while the Ouzo pairings of George Apap & Debbie Horovitch and Trevor Hockham & Ted Graham would dominate their Mythos counterparts winning each of their matches in two straight games for full points.

Round Two - 8-Ball Singles

Into Round Two, players would be split up to play a series of individual games of 8-ball singles, and the reign of the Ouzos would continue.

The Snowman would step up the fight for the Mythos Tribe, defeating both opponents he faced, previous partners Debbie Horovitch and George Apap. Steve Kean and Bobby Kyriazis also came out to play for Mythos, with tight second-match victories over the Ouzo's Ted Graham and Trevor Hockham respectively.

The other 3 members of Mythos would be swept through Round Two not by virtue of their opponents's skills, but by way of 8-ball scratches for the loss, resulting in a negative point earning for all three.

The harsh opening rounds would claim one victim from each tribe. "Voted Out" from the Mythos Tribe would be rookie shooter Anthony Tuzi, while seasoned veterans Debbie Horovitch and Ted Graham would be forced into a winner-moves-on tie breaker. Ultimately, it would be Horovitch who would fall from grace on the Ouzos, as Graham took the single tie-breaking game to earn his continuance..
